The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.
GOTS guarantees that the product is organic in the process from the harvesting to the labeling of the raw materials, with globally accepted requirements.
This standard for organic textiles covers the production, processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, exportation, importation and distribution of all natural fibres.
The GOTS certificate also defines the environmental criteria audited by Control Union; technical quality, human toxicity criteria and social criteria.
There are no GMOs, harmful chemicals, allergenic dyes or inks in the entire process, and no child labor is involved.
